Kenneth J. Mount

Associate Dean for Fiscal Affairs

Kenneth Mount has served on the staff of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health since 1999. He became the associate dean for fiscal affairs in 2005.

He is responsible for financial activities at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health, including budgeting, accounting, reporting and post-award research.

Mount participates in various University of Wisconsin-Madison campuswide committees, including the auditing committee and administrative advisory committee.

He serves on the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics finance and audit committees and the University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation audit committee.

Prior to coming to the University of Wisconsin, Mount was employed by the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and the University of Illinois Medical School in Rockford. He has nearly 20 years of experience working in medical schools.

Mount holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Valparaiso University, in Valparaiso, Indiana, and a master's degree in public administration from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb.
