The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health Office of Multicultural Affairs offers the Research Apprentice Program to Dane County high school students.

 

The Research Apprentice Program is designed to introduce high school students to scientific research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

 

During this seven-week program, students will learn from faculty and research scientists and participate in academic enrichment activities that include:

  • Mathematics, computer science, and writing workshops
  • Field trips to medical and research centers, and museums
  • Career information from presentations by physicians, research scientists, and graduate and medical school students

The 2009 Research Apprentice Program (RAP) deadline was May 1, 2009.
