Department of Human Oncology

The Department of Human Oncology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison is committed to educating scientists for research and teaching careers related to the etiology, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of human cancer.

 

The primary missions of the department are:

  • Provide outstanding, leading edge medical care to patients with neoplastic disease
  • Foster innovative clinical and translational research that has the promise of improving and advancing cancer care
  • Provide a strong, effective educational environment for radiation oncology residents, medical students and student researchers
  • Extend our expertise in the areas of patient care, research, education and service to the community at large
