The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is a robust academic department engaged in education, research, clinical services and advocacy for women.
Department faculty members are strongly committed to education at all levels (undergraduate, University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health students, postgraduate trainees, continuing medical education and allied health professionals).
The department is particularly proud of its medical student and resident educational programs, as well as its fellowship training programs in maternal-fetal medicine and gynecologic oncology.
Faculty members are involved in a variety of clinical, translational and basic research programs. Faculty collaborate with research groups throughout the UW-Madison campus, including the UW Carbone Cancer Center, the National Institutes of Health-funded Clinical Research Center, departments of population health and genetics, and many others.
