The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison has been recognized as a leader in patient care, research and education. The department's physicians, optometrists and researchers are dedicated to preventing vision loss and disability.
As an academic health care system within the UW School of Medicine and Public Health, the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences trains residents and fellows, and provides clinical experience to medical students.
