Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison promotes the health of children and adolescents with a balanced program that:

The department's home for inpatient services and specialty outpatient services is the
American Family Children's Hospital, a six-story, 135,000-square-foot, 84-bed facility that opened in August 2007. The inpatient rooms in the American Family Children's Hospital average more than 250 square feet.
