
The Department of Urology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is a full-service, state-of-the-art program serving the people of Wisconsin and surrounding states.
Each urologist based at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is subspecialty-trained and focused in a specific domain in urology. At the department's 1 South Park clinic, urologists offer full-service urologic care in the general urology setting. Unique to this site are the Men's Sexual Health initiative and the laser prostatectomy program.

A large clinical research staff along with research fellows, residents and research scientists support numerous clinical trials, research programs and the latest minimally and noninvasive treatments for most urologic disorders. The department's affiliation with the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, UW Hospital and Clinics and UW Medical Foundation assures patients of the latest in all medical and surgical technology.
The Department of Urology pioneered several techniques in urologic laparoscopy, and has been performing urologic laparoscopic procedures since 1996. The department also has a robust robotic surgery program.
