MD Clerkships
Welcome to Your Clinical Years at UWSMPH!
Starting your third year of medical school is a big milestone in your medical education. No year is more memorable. Never again will you be so awestruck by the wonders of medicine. There is something so uniquely thrilling about having an experience for the first time.
I hope that you will try to savor it all. You will spend a lot of time thinking about the future and what kind of physician you want to be. But don’t forget to be present in the moment of every clerkship, since you will never have some of these experiences again.
Each clerkship will provide you with opportunities to learn about yourself and grow. So, get your feet wet. Participate. Take a risk.
