Research
The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health Office of Community Service Programs offers a variety of ways to connect service with research.
One of the most common is through Community Based Participatory Research. This is an approach that involves all partners in the research process and recognizes the unique strengths that each person brings. It begins with a research topic of importance to the community and aims to combine knowledge with action to create social change.
