The MD Program at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison offers fourth-year preceptorships in family medicine with James Jerzak, MD, at Bellin Health in Green Bay.
Welcome Message from James Jerzak, MD
Our Green Bay preceptorship offers you the opportunity to work with an experienced family physician, Dr. James Jerzak, in a patient care team setting that will allow you to enhance your skills in primary care medicine.
You will interact with a variety of patients, from newborns to geriatrics. You will conduct initial assessments and develop management plans for these patients.
The family medicine preceptorship is located at the Green Bay Health and Athletic Performance Center, a Bellin Health System facility. The facility is complete with lab, X-Ray, MRI, PT/OT, a sports medicine clinic and a fitness center, which you are welcome to use.
Our cutting-edge health care center is dedicated to providing comprehensive health and fitness services to our patients. Past students have praised the rotation for its completeness and have found it to be a very fulfilling experience.
