The MD Program at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison offers a fourth-year multispecialty preceptorship with Michael Netzel, MD, in Monroe.
Welcome Message from Michael Netzel, MD
Come experience medicine at Monroe in a broad-spectrum multispecialty clinic in the rural setting of Green County, just one hour south of Madison. Here you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced mentors in a smaller atmosphere that allows for highly personalized patient care.
We strive to provide exceptional health care and an exceptional experience for our patients with high quality services and latest technology. During your rotation, you will have the opportunity to learn and practice in a state-of-the art facility that opened in 2012.
Our organization is proud to have earned a LEED-Silver designation for our facility that features nature inspired design conducive to health and healing.
The rotation consists of mini-rotations with various disciplines and medical specialties. Schedules are designed based on the interests and goals after medical school. Additional time is spent taking call in a busy emergency department working alongside skilled physician teachers.
