Welcome Letter from Steven Brooks, MD

I am Steven Brooks, an internist with the Ministry Medical Group in Rhinelander. I invite you to consider doing your preceptorship here in Rhinelander.

We are located in the great north woods, about three hours north of Madison. This is a vacation destination with many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. I feel that our preceptorship offers the opportunity to get a first-hand look at practice in a smaller community and to better understand a physician's lifestyle.

You will have opportunity to rotate through multiple specialties in a relatively new hospital/clinic and in satellite clinics. In the Ministry Medical Group we have internal medicine, pediatrics, general surgery, emergency medicine, dermatology, neurology, rheumatology, women's health, ENT and physiatry. Orthopedic surgery is available in town, and anesthesia rotations can be arranged.
