The MD Program at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison offers a fourth-year family medicine preceptorship with William Nietert, MD, in Wausau.

Welcome to Wausau's Fourth-Year Preceptorship program.
Your six-week preceptorship will include two weeks with Dr. Nietert at Aspirus Kronenwetter Clinic. Dr. Nietert practices general family medicine, including nursing home care. Typically, a day is scheduled with the Visiting Nurse Association and a day with the Public Health Department is also coordinated.
The remaining weeks are flexible and will be scheduled according to your interests. Lodging and meals are provided by Aspirus Wausau Hospital if needed. Be sure to bring your sense of humor.
