Overarching Course Goals for Integrated Dermatology
- Build upon their knowledge of cutaneous anatomy and physiology
- Understand the basic principles of diseases that affect the epidermis, basement membrane zone, dermis and subcutis
- Recognize the clinical manifestations of common dermatoses
- Correlate histopathologic findings with clinical presentation of common dermatoses
- Understand the principles of topical and oral therapeutics in dermatology
