Overarching Course Goals for Integrated Musculoskeletal System
- Recognize the population health impact of common musculoskeletal conditions
- Understand how the musculoskeletal system responds to use, disuse and injury
- Understand the pathophysiology of inflammatory arthropathy
- Know how to formulate a differential diagnosis for common musculoskeletal complaints
- Recognize appropriate medical imaging modalities and laboratory tests based on patient history and physical exam findings
