During the third year of the MD Program curriculum, medical students at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison will complete a rotation with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

  • Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO): APGO is a private, voluntary, nonprofit organization whose mission promotes excellence in women's health care by providing optimal resources and support to educators who inspire, instruct, develop and empower women's health care providers of tomorrow. Medical student resources include:
    • Residency Directory for Medical Students
    • uWise - The APGO Undergraduate Web-Based Interactive Self-Evaluation exam was developed to help medical students acquire the necessary basic knowledge in obstetrics and gynecology, regardless of future medical specialty choice. The quizzes are also an excellent tool to help prepare for the NBME ob-gyn subject exam and national licensure examinations.
