Related Resources
During the third or fourth year of the MD Program curriculum, medical students at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison will complete a two-week rotation in the Department of Radiology.
The following information describes feedback, evaluation and grading for the radiology clerkship.
Evaluation
We value your input. We will ask you to complete forms to evaluate the lectures, to vote for your favorite faculty and resident that you interacted with during your rotation, and to critique the clerkship. You may also be asked to complete an evaluation of the course through OASIS. All evaluations are anonymous. Your suggestions, compliments and criticism will keep the clerkship fresh, exciting and relevant.
Grading
Grading will be based on:
- Final exam: 70 percent
- Seminar participation and reading room attendance: 20 percent
- Case report: 10 percent
Exam
The exam is administered at the end of the rotation. It is comprised of multiple choice questions; some questions include images. The subject matter will come from the lectures/seminars, required textbook readings and clinical teaching cases.
Students who have fully participated in this rotation (attending and participating in lectures/seminars, observing reading room sessions, and completing the required readings) should be able to successfully complete this exam.
