Summer Research Fall Forum

The Herman and Gwendolyn Shapiro Foundation and the Office of Academic Affairs are pleased to sponsor the Sixth Annual Medical Student Research Fall Forum on Tuesday, November 20, from 12:00-5:00 pm in the HSLC. The Forum will highlight the research accomplishments of 65 second year medical students who conducted summer research under the direction of faculty mentors and their research staff. Faculty, staff and students are welcome to attend.
Two poster sessions will be held in the Atrium of the HSLC from 12:00-1:00 pm and 4:00-5:00 pm. The Shapiro Guest Lecture by James Gern, MD, Professor of Pediatrics and Medicine, "Identifying Risk Factors for Childhood Asthma", will begin at 1:15 pm in Room 1306 HSLC. Student research oral presentation sessions will begin at 2:15 pm in Rooms 1306, 1325, and 1335.
