Admissions and Financial Assistance
The Wisconsin Academy for Rural Medicine is a rural education program within the MD Program curriculum at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison.
Admission into the Wisconsin Academy for Rural Medicine is competitive, and students must have a strong commitment to practice medicine in rural Wisconsin.
Admission is limited to Wisconsin residents. International applicants, who hold a permanent resident visa and have permanent resident status in Wisconsin as well a strong desire to practice rural medicine in Wisconsin, will be reviewed in the resident pool.
