The Wisconsin Academy for Rural Medicine is a rural education program within the MD Program curriculum at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison.
Medical students who are enrolled in this four-year program will learn to develop the skills and have opportunities to participate in a rural setting.
The Wisconsin Academy for Rural Medicine program aims to increase the number of physicians practicing in rural Wisconsin and to improve the health of Wisconsin communities.
