Research Experience

University of Wisconsin McArdle Laboratory for Cancer Research, June 2002-present
Advisor: Christopher A. Bradfield, PhD
Project: The Bradfield Lab focuses on how the Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor (AhR) mediates toxic responses and AhR's role during development. I am currently mapping genetic modifiers of dioxin-induced cleft palate.

University of Wisconsin Comprehensive Cancer Center, 1998-2002
Advisor: John E. Niederhuber, MD, UWCCC Director
Project: The Niederhuber lab studies the src-like kinase, Blk. I studied a putative Internal Ribosomal Entry Site within the 5' untranslated region of blk mRNA.
