Clerkship Catalog

Visiting students may take a minimum of four and a maximum of eight weeks/credits at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Although the clerkships listed in these catalogs will accept visiting students, not all clerkships will have open positions at all times.

Be sure to read the catalog information for the clerkships you are interested in to determine if they require more documentation than the UW School of Medicine and Public Health.

Note: If the dates you can rotate here differ from those in the catalog, when you complete the online application choose the dates closest to the time you can attend and write the actual dates you are requesting on your printed application.

Please note: The UW School of Medicine and Public Health Visiting Student application process for 2012-2013 electives opens on June 1, 2012. No applications will be accepted prior to that time. Please check back AFTER that date to see if there are any elective dates available for which you can apply.
