U.S. export control laws can apply to teaching and research activities, including international shipment of equipment, materials or technology; research equipment accompanying international travel; and interaction with international students/colleagues on campus.

 

This seminar summarizes export laws most likely to apply to university research; possible exceptions to these laws; campus policies/resources for researchers; and governmental controls including reference to "sensitive information."
