Call for Abstracts
If you are interested in presenting a poster, please send your abstract (250-word limit) to Alicia Cramer (amcramer@wisc.edu) by Friday, March 30. Late submissions will not be included in the abstract book.
This symposium is made possible by a generous gift from Kato Perlman, David Perlman's widow. David Perlman was the dean of the School of Pharmacy from 1968-75. Prior to coming to UW-Madison, he worked 23 years in the pharmaceutical industry including stints at Hoffman-LaRoche, Merck and Squibb. He held 23 U.S. patents on antibiotics and their modifications.
Thus, the Perlman Symposium aims to honor the accomplishments of David Perlman by bringing together current members of the UW-Madison community who share an excitement and interest in antibiotics.
