University of Wisconsin-Madison Graduate School Seminar Series.

This session is for those who wish to navigate through WISDM to perform various grant-related data searches and reports. You should have either completed WISDM for Beginners training session or had equivalent knowledge/skills.

This session demonstrates tips on how to perform various project searches, including how to search projects by PI, by department, by fund, by sponsor, or by Award ID and Project ID. Participants will learn the information maintained in the multiple tabs displayed on the main project and award panels.

Participants will learn how to create salary encumbrance balance reports and purchase order balance reports for grants. In addition participants will learn how to identify and interpret various transactions charged to specific grants.
