Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day, or BRA Day USA, is designed to promote education, awareness and access regarding post-mastectomy breast reconstruction. Joining the movement demonstrates an interest in and desire to educate others about breast reconstruction and women’s health.

Breast surgeons from the UW School of Medicine and Public Health Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and UW Health Breast Center, along with other UW Health team members, patients, family members, friends and interested community members will attend. Physicians and staff will answer questions and facilitate a discussion about options for breast reconstruction.

Yoga accompanied by live acoustic guitar will begin at 9am. It will include a light 60-minute flow - comfortable for all levels of experience - with 15 minutes before and after for warm-up/cool down and breathing. Special pink yoga mats (limit one per guest available to the first 100 attendees) and light refreshments will be provided.
