In addition, the boundaries of the UW School of Medicine and Public Health extend to the entire state. Working under this Statewide Campus model, students receive training in communities throughout Wisconsin.
The Health Sciences Learning Center (HSLC), the primary site of instruction for first- and second-year students in the MD Program, is connected to Ebling Library, the Wisconsin Institutes for Medical Research (WIMR) and Clinical Science Center (UW Hospital and Clinics), providing a central hub for classes, research and studying.
The UW School of Medicine and Public Health is surrounded by other UW-Madison health sciences schools and research centers, including the School of Nursing, School of Pharmacy and Waisman Center.
