Conference Room Reservation Policy

The University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation Centennial Building (MFCB) was constructed as a shared space for all UW School of Medicine and Public Health departments.

The shared resources included in the MFCB are two classroom spaces (1220 and 1230) and several conference room spaces (2114, 3114, 3156, 4114, 4156, 5114, 6114, 7114). These rooms will be scheduled by Classroom and AV Services using the following policy.

Priority Order for Room Assignments:

1. UW School of Medicine and Public Health departments
2. UW Hospital and Clinics, UW Medical Foundation and clinical conferences
3. All other events

Exceptions to the Priority Order Exist for These Rooms:

1. Room 1220 is scheduled daily Monday-Friday from 6 to 9am for Orthopedics and Rehabilitation and is available for general scheduling other times of the day.
2. Room 1230 is primarily used as a classroom for the Department of Radiology. Other events may be scheduled in that room with Department of Radiology approval.
3. Rooms 2114 and 3114 include HD video conferencing capabilities and are scheduled using this priority:
   1. Events requiring video conferencing capability
   2. All other events follow priority order listed above

Reservations Criteria:

1. Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis
2. MFCB occupants will be given 7 days prior to when a new time period is open to request recurring reservations (e.g., grand rounds) for that time period
3. Room assignments are subject to change by Classroom and AV Services to accommodate priority order conflicts
4. Space is released for reservations according to this schedule:
