Bio: Dr. Williams is a Managing Health Scientist with ChemRisk. He is a toxicologist with 18 years of experience in litigation support, applied toxicology, quantitative risk assessment, and public health. Dr. Williams has authored technical documents in these subject areas for private and public clients and has published in the peer review literature. Dr. Williams has managed international litigation practices and human health risk assessments and has directed the activities of multiple scientists with varying levels of expertise and academic credentials, including PhD-level staff. As a litigation support expert, Dr. Williams develops practical risk assessment approaches to complex litigation and serves as an expert in matters of risk analysis, occupational, consumer product, and environmental exposure assessment, toxicology, and public health. He also has conducted dozens of risk-based site investigations and has served as lead in regulatory negotiations. Dr. Williams has extensive experience evaluating exposure to and the health effects from dioxins, metals including chromium and arsenic, volatile organic compounds, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, and polychlorinated biphenyls. He has been retained as a testifying expert in matters involving exposures to asbestos, metals such as arsenic, and air pollutants such as particulate matter, ozone, sulfur and nitrogen oxides, and benzene.

Bio: In 1994, I completed a Ph.D. in Bacteriology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and then moved to the greater Washington, D.C. area to continue studies a postdoctoral fellow. My last postdoctoral was a staff fellowship at the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research at the Food and Drug Administration that served as an introduction to drug development and regulatory affairs. I now manage advanced development of a biologic at a government acquisition organization.
