Game 5 - LOST 9-7
 Well what an exciting night of softball! We had home field advantage but our bats did not come to life in the bottom of the 7th when we needed them too!
Top of the 1st we gave up a hit but did not let them score. Rob lead us off with a double hit to deep center; Elyse took a walk to the wild side and Jordan smacked one to left to bring Rob in. Travis hit one to left center, but unfortunately it went right into a glove. But hey, we are up 1-0!
 Second inning they got one unearned run. Kevin started us out with a beautiful triple. Oh Ya! Pat sacrificed her hit so Kevin could score. Josh hit a single and Kelly sacrificed to advance Josh and get him into scoring position. Craig came to the plate and did his job - he hit a single to bring Josh home. We are now up 3-1.
Third Brittney gave up four hits and they got 3 runs against us. At our bat, Jordan got on due to a fielding error, Brittney walked, and Travis got on due to another field error (we will take it!). That error allowed Joran to score. Game is now tied 4-4.
 In the 4th they got 3 more hits and fielding errors gave them 2 unearned runs. We got up and went down in order. Score is 6-4 and we are on the short end of those runs!
 They started off the 5th with a shot to deep left over the fielder head (was it Rob??) Runner had a triple easy, but greed took ahold and he tried to get a home run. Rob (???) fires the ball from left to Kelly behind the plate, Kelly missed the ball ran to retrieve but Brittney was already backing up home plate so Kelly gave the ball an underhand backwards toss to Brittney who laid that tag down like a pro- he is OUTTA HERE! High Fives All Around! You Go Girls!!!!
Next 2 batters flew out so we come to the plate. Rohinton started the inning off with a dribbler to the pitcher. He pounded it to 1st and took a heck of "roll" over the bag, he got out, but we give him a "10" for his rolling style! Rob hit to right and got on due to a field error (we're not proud, we'll take it). Jordan hit to left for a double and brought Rob in and then Brittney followed with another double to bring Jordan in. Travis up next, and not to be outdone, cranks a double and brings in Brittney. What a rush that inning was. We are now up 7-6.

We all checked out the pitcher of the "next" game. We all agree that maybe this should be the "New Style" for us! The form, the hat, it is all there - I think we need to invest in a pitchers hat!
 Back to Our Game Summary
In the 6th they got a runner on due to a field error, but we didn't let them score. That was due to an AWESOME catch by Eva in center. That catch saved us from 2 runs coming in. YEE HAW. We came to bat and we had 3 fly balls all drop right into their gloves, hello/goodbye, we go down in order.

OKAY - So here we are heading into the 7th inning and we are up by one run. Their 1st batter got to 2nd due to a fielding error and that was followed by two more base hits. Bases loaded - NO OUTS! Next batter hits a single and scores a run . . .finally next two batters flew out; then comes a solid hit for a double and 2 runs scored. We are losing 9-7 but have one more at bat.
Rohinton started us off and hit a pop up which they caught for the out. Rob hit a single to right but got out when Elyse hit to short and they threw Rob out on a fielders choice. Jordan came to the plate and took a walk. Now we have Elyse on 2nd and Jordan on 1st. Two outs and we need these 2 runs to tie the game. Brittney comes to the plate . . . she makes solid contact and sails the ball to right center. (OMG this is so intense!) Oh man, a glove appears and the ball dropped right into it. WE WERE ROBBED!!!!
 So we lost 9-7, but what an exciting game!
Eileen's daughter Katie busted out (Travis' favorite) - - - Better Than WHAT Kinda Cake was that? We enjoyed the cake along with a nice refreshing beverage from our Ronald McDonald cups. Then just hung out, talked and laughed for another hour or so.

. . . Brittney was pitching and gave up 15 hits. Do you think it is because of that ROCK she has weighing down her one arm? She was all off balance - maybe that wonderful man of hers could just buy a nice big sapphire to compliment the diamond. Weigh down both sides evenly to balance the wind up & delivery!

WOW to take a chance and propose on the "big screen" in front of thousands of people at Miller Park! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
