Game 6 - WON 22-0
Beautiful night for a ballgame and our LD50's got their bats going and they did not stop until the umpire gave the "MERCY" call and ended the game in the 5th inning.
Team realized that they have not done a group circle since their 1st game . . . and oddly enough . . . . that was the only win they had. So what the heck - lets do "the circle" and the "go team" as it certainly cannot hurt our standings.
1st Inning
Amy took the mound and the others took their places on the field. First pitch and ball is hit to 2nd. OH NO AN ERROR the runner got on (but not for long). Second batter got to first but a fielders choice picked the lead runner off. Third batter foul tipped but Kelly caught it for the out. Fourth batter cranks one to left center and this looks like at least one run if not a home run for two. But oh no - - - Travis saves the day with a leap he dives for the ball and snags it. YEAH!!!! Way to sacrifice the body - take one "for the team!" That is 3 outs and no runs scores!

Rob took a walk to 1st and Brittney hit a single. Jordan hit to short and instead of the fielder tagging Rob on the way by and throwing Brittney out @ 2nd - - - he throws Jordan out at 1st. Kelly hits a single and loads the bases up. Travis is up and there are just sitting ducks for him to clean up. Travis hits a single which scored Rob and Brittney and Kelly got out on a fielders choice. Elyse, Craig, Pat, and Josh all follow with singles. We have 5 runs at the end of the inning.

2nd Inning
Absolute Art had a hit to center followed by two infield pop ups that were caught for outs.
We come to the plate and Eric & Kevin get on due to fielding errors and Amy hits a single for a RBI. Rob comes to the plate and hits a single, Brittney get on thanks to a fielding error, Jordan hit s single and Travis took a walk. When all is said and done we scored four more runs!

3rd Inning
Absolute Art went down in order 1, 2, 3 and we are back at the plate. Our show wasn't much better. Craig got on by error, Pat hit a single and they threw Craig out at 2nd. Josh hit the ball and they threw Pat out at 2nd and Eva hit back to the pitcher who threw her out at 1st.

4th Inning
We threw their 1st two batters out at 1st, batters 3 and 4 hit singles and fifth batter thrown out a 1st. Eric starts us off with a single and he comes in when Kevin smacks a triple then Kevin scores on Amy's single and Amy scored on Brittney's single. So we have 3 more runs and the score is now 12-Zip.
   5th Inning
Absolute Art has first 2 batters thrown out at 1st, 3rd batter gets a single and 4th strikes out. LD50's come to the plate and their bats are SMOKIN' . . . we are ON FIRE! Kelly hits a single.
Left: Kelly is on 1st and yells back "come on honey bring me home"
Travis hits a single, Elyse gets out but advances the runners to 2nd and 3rd which was perfect as Craig hit a double to bring them in. Pat hit a single to bring Craig in, Josh hit a double, and Eva hits a solid single. Eric comes to the plate and brings in 2 more runs, Rachel brings in a run. Kevin hit an "infield fly" which is an automatic out. Amy, Rob Britt and Jordan all hit. Nobody can stop us now!!!!
Well almost nobody - the umpire enforces the MERCY RULE and calls the game. We take the game 22-0.

We have alot of photos yet so I'll just put them at the bottom of this page.
Eileen brought the team some treats - those are some BIG COOKIES!"
Left: Mara Feld (and her dog) came out to enjoy the game.
Below: Friends of Amy, Rachel and Elyse also came to enjoy the big win!
Hummm - where is our favorite metro driver who keeps saying he'll make a game??? Probably can't find his way around town huh!
