Research
Research and teaching at the University of Wisconsin will focus on environmental microbiology. Specifically, the emerging field of microbial source tracking. This specialty has applications to drinking water, wastewater, biosolids, agricultural wastes and more. I will be teaching a graduate course on pathogens and indicator organism systems for environmental applications.
