Dissertator Status
A dissertator is a student who has completed all requirements for a PhD degree except for the dissertation, including the Preliminary Examination and all major and minor requirements. In the Molecular and Environmental Toxicology program dissertator status should be achieved within 2½ years of starting the program. Dissertators register for 2 credits of 990-Independent Research and 1 credit of 800-Seminar during the Fall/Spring semesters; and 3 credits of 990-Independent Research for the summer.
