Animal Use
All persons who work with Vertebrate Animals must be certified by the UW Research Animal Resources Center (RARC) prior to commencing research with animals. This includes successful completion of the Animal User Orientation Certification Seminar. Approved laboratory protocols for work with animals must be followed. Persons who work with animals will be trained by others in their own laboratory or through special classes offered by RARC. Click here for additional information or call (608) 262-1238.
