PIN Number

A couple of months before registration, new students will receive by mail from the Registrar’s Office an Enrollment Invitation, including a Personal Identification Number (PIN). The PIN is your private security code that allows you to access your student records and the registration system. The University assigns a default four digit PIN. All students should change their PIN according to DoIT policy; change your PIN through the My UW-Madison portal . If you lose or forget your PIN number, please call the DoIt HELP Desk to obtain a new PIN at (608) 264-4357.
