Deadlines
Applications for the Fall semester will be accepted until January 15 of that year. Applicants who wish to be considered for various fellowships must submit all materials by one month earlier (December 15). Most students are not funded by fellowships but by their research labs.
Applicants accepted for the Fall semester may arrange to take Summer courses if they wish. Students are admitted for the Spring semester only under exceptional circumstances. Complete applications for Spring semester admission received by the previous November 1 will be reviewed at the discretion of the Admissions Committee. Such an applications not reviewed for Spring semester automatically will be considered for Fall unless the application is withdrawn.
September - Register for November Subject GRE
November - Apply for NSF Fellowships
December 15th - Apply for UW Fellowships
January 15th - Apply for Fall Semester Entry
