Carl Stafstrom Honored by American Neurological Association

Carl E. Stafstrom, MD, PhD, is the 2012 recipient of the American Neurological Association's Distinguished Neurology Teaching Award.

 

Carl StafstromStafstrom, professor of neurology and pediatrics and chief of pediatric neurology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, earned the award for making a significant impact on medical students and trainees in neurology.

 

The Distinguished Neurology Teaching Award was established in 1996 to recognize outstanding accomplishments in teaching neurology to residents and medical students. The award's purpose is to recognize and reward contributions by gifted and talented teachers of neurology. Nominees may come from the entire field of clinical neurology or neuroscience.
