Igor Slukvin Receives $3.2 Million NIH Grant

Igor SlukvinIgor Slukvin, MD, PhD, associate professor of pathology and laboratory medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, received a National Institutes of Health grant to develop novel stem cell-based therapies for AIDS.

 

Slukvin will serve as principal investigator of this five-year, $3.2 million study, which includes collaboration with co-principal investigator Bruce Torbett, PhD, of Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla, California.
