Community-Academic Partnership Fund Request for Partnerships Released

Madison, Wisconsin - The Wisconsin Partnership Program has released its 2011 Community-Academic Partnership Fund Request for Partnerships.

 

Through the Community-Academic Partnership Fund, the Wisconsin Partnership Program supports efforts by Wisconsin community-based organizations and government agencies working in tandem with an academic partner to improve the health of Wisconsin residents and advance the goals of the State Health Plan, Healthiest Wisconsin 2020.

 

The Oversight and Advisory Committee expects to make approximately $2.5 million in awards during the 2011 funding cycle.

 

There are two types of grants available:

  • Implementation Grants: Up to $400,000 for three years for projects that either employ or test evidence-based health interventions

  • Development Grants: Up to $50,000 for up to two years for the development of new partnerships, demonstration or pilot projects, or smaller implementation projects
