Nominations Sought for Dean's Teaching Awards
University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health administration is seeking nominations for the 2010-11 Dean's Teaching Awards. These peer-selected awards were established to honor outstanding contributions in student education in medical school programs.
Any individual (except previous recipients) who has a significant impact on the education of medical, graduate, professional or undergraduate students in School of Medicine and Public Health programs is eligible for nomination. Nominees should have a minimum of three years of teaching or educational experience.
Nomination information and forms are available by contacting Maureen Gerarden in the Medical Education Office at mgerarden@wisc.edu.
Nomination packets are due Monday, March 14; address to Maureen Gerarden, 4280A Health Sciences Learning Center, 750 Highland Ave., Madison, WI 53705.
Recipients will be honored at Medical Education Day on Tuesday, April 26, 2011.
