Radiologist Scott Reeder Awarded $2.5 Million NIH Grant
Dr. Scott Reeder, associate professor of radiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, has been awarded a five-year, $2.5 million grant from the National Institutes of Health.
Reeder is co-principal investigator, along with Dr. Claude Sirlin from the Department of Radiology at the University of California-San Diego. Reeder is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, "Technical Validation of MRI Biomarkers of Liver Fat," performed at UW-Madison and is jointly responsible for overseeing the overall project with Sirlin.
Reeder will also work directly with Dr. Jon Gould in the Department of Surgery and Dr. Rashmi Agni in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, who are co-investigators at UW-Madison and will interface with the UCSD team led by Dr. Sirlin.
