Guided by the "Wisconsin Idea" that the boundaries of the campus extend to the boundaries of the state and beyond, our mission is to become a primary resource for stimulating, creating and communicating useful public health and health policy research and analysis.

Western Clinical Campus (Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center
Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center is the Western Clinical Campus for the University of Wisconsin Medical School. The challenging environment of a research and teaching facility allows us to bring leading-edge medical knowledge and technology to the tri-state region. Our physicians, nurses, therapists and counselors are all teachers — sharing their expertise with resident and student doctors, student nurses, paramedics and other health professionals. That keeps them all at the peak of their profession.

Office of Continuing Professional Development in Medicine and Public Health (formerly CME)
The Office of Continuing Professional Development in Medicine and Public Health(formerly called the Office of Continuing Medical Education, or CME) offers a full range of educational experiences that enhance the practitioner's knowledge base, provide updates and review, and expand professional skills.

Center for Tobacco Research and Intervention (CTRI)
CTRI is a nationally-recognized academic center dedicated to advancing the science of tobacco dependence and its treatment, to providing effective intervention and outreach services for children and adults, and to developing policy initiatives to reduce the prevalence of tobacco use and resultant health and economic burdens.
