Patient Care

University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health faculty care for patients at University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, UW Paul P. Carbone Comprehensive Cancer Center, American Family Children's Hospital and other local and regional hospitals and clinics. Together, the clinical faculty make up UW Health Physicians, the nation's seventh largest physician group.

National surveys consistently rank UW Hospital and Clinics among the finest academic medical centers in the United States. Long recognized as a leader in cancer care, pediatrics, ophthalmology, surgical specialties and organ transplantation, the hospital's services are comprehensive and wide-ranging. In addition, the American Family Children's Hospital--located in an innovative, new facility adjacent to UW Hospital and Clinics--provides a full range of services for children and their families, from allergy to adolescent medicine, cardiology and organ transplantation.

Faculty also care for patients in nearly 100 clinics in Madison and throughout the state, with key sites in Milwaukee, LaCrosse, Eau Claire, Wausau and Appleton.
