Registration is open for the Wisconsin Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians (WACEP) 2018 Spring Symposium and 26th Annual Wisconsin Emergency Medicine Research Forum.

The event takes place March 14-15 at The Edgewater in Madison.

This year’s theme, Building Connections, reflects the importance of connectivity in the practice of emergency medicine and also highlights the joining of forces between WACEP and both the UW-Madison and Medical College of Wisconsin residency programs for a collaborative approach at the annual research forum.

Confirmed conference presenters include Erik Hess, MD, from Mayo Clinic, who will speak on patient involvement in shared decision-making; and Josef Thundiyil, MD, MPH, from Orlando Regional Medical Center, who will address the Orlando Pulse mass casualty incident.
