The Master of Public Health Program has developed a multitude of field work opportunities with agencies across the state and around the world geared toward meeting the diverse needs and interests of our students.

Information about the type of work that the student will complete at the site, location of the site, contact information for the preceptor and the name of the student or students who have completed their field experiences at this site can be found online. This information can be a useful tool in helping students think about potential projects or lead directly to a field placement.

While the MPH Program strives to identify opportunities for every student, students may wish to explore outside networks and faculty contacts to identify a fieldwork opportunity of their choosing. Students who identify a potential preceptor and field site not previously used must go through the appropriate approval channels of the program before they can begin their field experience. Students should refer to the field and capstone project handbook for further details.
