- Wisconsin residents who apply to the Wisconsin Academy for Rural Medicine (WARM) or the MD-PhD programs are automatically considered for the regular MD program if not accepted to the WARM or MD-PhD programs.
- The Wisconsin Academy for Rural Medicine will consider applicants from Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois and Michigan if they are interested in becoming a rural Wisconsin physician.
