Colleen Cobey received her bachelor of science degree from Ohio University in 1988, her certificate in manual therapy from Kaiser Permanente in 1992, and her masters in exercise physiology from Ohio University in 2006.
She is currently working on her DHSc from the University of Indianapolis. Her main clinical focus is in outpatient physical therapy, and she has worked in numerous settings over her clinical career.
Prior to arriving in Madison, she was the orthopedic lab instructor at Ohio University, teaching the lab portion of various orthopedic classes. She has also instructed in several continuing education courses, mainly focusing on manual therapy interventions for the spine. Here at the University of Wisconsin she has a dual appointment.
Her clinical time time is spent on campus at the University Health Services clinic providing care to students as well as visiting professors. Her teaching responsibilities are PT 501, PT 527, PT 534.
She received the outstanding alumni award from Ohio university's college of health and human services in 2009.
