Deonna Suiter received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise and Sport Science from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2004, and her Physical Therapist Assistant Degree at Nash Community College in 2007. Her clinical expertise is primarily in the area of geriatrics.
Suiter joined the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in 2020 as the Clinical Education Assistant where she works with the Director of Clinical Education to onboard students for placement in their clinical internships. She also helps maintain appropriate requirements for students that are in the program, and assists with labs, lectures, as well as recruitment events.
Deonna is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and maintains her physical therapist assistant licensure.
