Amy Schultz coordinates with researchers outside of the Survey of the Health of Wisconsin (SHOW) who want to use prior, current, or future SHOW participants and/or the SHOW infrastructure to conduct a study of their own.
One such ancillary study includes the Anglers Project, where the Department of Health Services uses the SHOW infrastructure to assess chemicals in the blood of licensed anglers in the state and how levels of chemicals may be related to fish consumption.
Schultz is currently a PhD candidate in Environmental Epidemiology at the University of Wisconsin. Her research interests include studying environmental exposures via water and air pollution from a multitude of sources, but her dissertation focuses on industrial agricultural sources.
