Rowley Named Chair, Appointed International Visiting Professor

Howard A. Rowley, MD, (pictured right) has been appointed to be the next Chair of the Neuroradiology Education and Research (NER) Foundation. The appointment is effective July 1, 2010, for a three-year term through June 30, 2013.

Rowley is a member of the UW Carbone Cancer Center and is a participant in the Imaging and Radiation Sciences program.

Dr. Rowley served as Secretary of the American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR), 2008-2010, and Chairman of the Research Committee, 2005-2007, a background that offers insight into the future of neuroradiology through research that is critical to all ASNR members.

Rowley was appointed to the 2011 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) International Visiting Professor (IVP) Program, with a first destination of Myanmar (former Burma), by the RSNA Committee on International Relations and Education (CIRE).
